Clarity has been asked by the Sustainable Living Initiative in Norwich to design, construct and host a new website. This fantastic community organisation already has a basic website which, unfortunately, doesn’t do justice to the wonderful work that its members do.
The Sustainable Living Initiative began in Norwich in 2004, with the aim of bringing together local people interested in growing their own organic fruit and vegetables, especially those with little or no experience. As well as supporting each other through shared skills and knowledge, its members also share a passion for sustainability and environmental protection.
Before designing a new website, it’s important for us to fully understand our client’s business or organisation and so we were invited to get a good look behind the scenes, with a tour of the beautiful Marlpit Community Gardens.
The tour included a visit to the bee hives, where the group produce their own honey in home-made hives.
After enjoying the tour and meeting with community members, we were invited to join everyone for a delicious lunch, made from fresh organic produce grown on site in the Community Gardens.
We’re looking forward to working closely with the Sustainable Living Initiative and developing a website that really reflects all of the wonderful work that the team are doing within their local community.
